RULES: MUST READ
These are the rules for the site. Make sure to read them, please. Staff reserve the right to update and change these rules as necessary
Out of Character Rules
1. Be polite to everyone, whether they be members or guests. Rudeness toward fellow members or visitors to our site will not be tolerated.
2. If there is an issue, please take it to PM. If members can't resolve it themselves, bring it to an admin's attention and we'll do our best to help.

3. Per Proboards TOS, members must be 13 years of age in order to register. If anyone is found to be under this age, the Proboards team could shut us down.
In Character Rules
1. No one-liner posts, please. While we prefer good posts over long ones, all IC posts need to be at least one to two good paragraphs in length, in order to give your fellow RPers something to reply to.
2. Please use your best spelling and grammar when you post. If your posts are unreadable, it's no fun for anyone. We are willing to work with you if you genuinely want to improve!

3. As per the Proboards TOS, keep everything PG. No graphic descriptions of gore and violence, and anything intimate should be Fade to Black and taken off the board entirely. Characters under the age of 16 should not have any intimate relations at all, again per the TOS.
Character Creation Rules
1. Balanced characters are best. No one is perfect, everyone has strengths and weaknesses. If your character doesn't have any, or staff feel that your character isn't balanced enough, you will be asked to make adjustments.

2. While we all like having trouble in our characters' histories, don't get too descriptive. And again, no intimate relations for characters under 16.
3. While almost any hair color is allowed, as long as it is explained by reasonable dyes, only natural eye colors are allowed. Remember, our characters are colonists who crash landed on a planet with no humanoid life. What they have access to and what they can make is very limited at this early stage. What dyes can be made will likely wash out. Not that your character can't have, say, extra boxed dyes stashed somewhere in their room on the Horus, but those supplies will be limited.
4. Make it believable, please! Not every character will be a scientific prodigy or the child of some wealthy doctor or whatever. If there are too many of one or another character type, we will have to put restrictions on them until our numbers even out. These characters are all coming from a war-torn world, potentially trying to escape poverty, tyrants, ect. Most of them will likely have suffered in some way or other. Essentially, the ones not coming to purposely chart and explore the new world are either the rich who could afford it, or refugees who got enough money together to get away.
